Everything your client needs to join the AustralianSuper Pension is here.

If you wish to recommend the AustralianSuper Pension to a client, you will need to provide them with the following forms:

Membership application form
This form must be completed to open an AustralianSuper Pension account and is required whether your client is an existing AustralianSuper member or not.

Section 13 of the Membership application form provides Financial Adviser Access to a client’s account. This authority will allow you to telephone AustralianSuper at any time to obtain relevant information and monitor your client's account on their behalf.

Tax File Number declaration form
An AustralianSuper Pension account cannot be set up until this form is completed by your client or an exemption on this form is provided.

Transfer your super form
One form must be completed for every additional super and/or pension account your client wants to transfer into their AustralianSuper Pension account. This form is not required for members with an existing account with AustralianSuper.

Binding death benefit nomination form
Your client will need to complete this form if they wish to make a binding nomination. To make a reversionary pensioner or non-binding nomination, they will need to complete section 6 of the Membership application form.

Investment switching form
This form should be used if your client wishes to change their investment strategy any time after their pension has commenced. They should nominate their initial investment strategy on the Membership application form in section 7.

Withholding declaration form
This form should be completed if your client wants to increase the amount of tax withheld from their pension payments. This form is available from the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) at www.ato.gov.au or by contacting the ATO on 13 28 61.
