Investment management fees

AustralianSuper works hard to negotiate the lowest fees possible with the investment managers engaged by the Fund.

Investment costs are taken out of AustralianSuper’s investment returns before they are credited to your account. Many funds declare their rates and take these fees out later, which can make their returns look better than they really are.

AustralianSuper's investment costs cover:

Investment management
Master custodian services
Asset consulting.

The tables below show AustralianSuper's annual investment management fees for 12-months to 30 June 2008.

Fees are shown as a percentage and as a dollar cost for each $10,000 invested. This will make it easier for you to compare AustralianSuper’s investment management fees with other superannuation funds.
